Children’s Programs
Sunday School
Children ages three through fifth grade are invited to Sunday school from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM every Sunday. All classrooms are on second floor.
Weekday Preschool
Children
ages two, three, and four may attend morning preschool classes with
certified teachers in a program that is state licensed and three-star
quality rated. For information about registration and monthly fees

Children’s Worship
Each week during the 11 o'clock service, children ages four through second grade are invited to come to children’s worship held in room 202 (classroom). This a very structured program where children hear lessons from the Bible and learn how to conduct themselves as though they were in a church setting. Each week it is listed in the church bulletin when children are to follow the greeter to children’s worship.
ACES: Academic Christian Enrichment Series
Each week we will learn about God's world through science. From conducting chemistry experiments to biology, each week has a different science focus. This is a very fun and interactive program for the children. Any grade school child is welcome. New members can join at any time. ACES is led by Wade Cain, a retired chemistry professor from MSU. Visiting MSU science faculty have also led some sessions. ACES currently meets in the Conference room. The meeting time and day change each semester. The time and day can be located on the calendar in the church bulletin each Sunday.
Children’s Fellowship
During the spring and fall semester, children ages three through fifth grade meet on Sunday’s from 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall to enjoy Bible stories, crafts, music, and games. Children that participate in this program have also presented programs during the Sunday morning services, i.e. Christmas program, Easter program, Children’s Sunday, Mother’s Day, etc.. This program does not meet during the summer. We try to offer at least one or two special events for the children during the summer months.
Choir
Children ages three through fifth grade are invited to sing in the Children’s Choirs. We have a preschool choir for ages three to five and a children’s choir for ages six to twelve. Practice for these choirs take place during the 3:00 PM fellowship program on Sunday. You do not have to attend the fellowship program to be in the choir. If your child is interested in being in choir, but not attending the fellowship, you can contact us to find out the time and place for practice.
Kid’s Koinonia
Wednesday evenings beginning at 5:30 PM families are invited to participate in Koinonia Kafé. Supper is served from 5:30 to 6:00. From 6:00 to 7:00 children ages three through fifth grade can go to Kid’s Koinonia to enjoy Bible stories, fellowship, and crafts. Parents remain in the Wesley Hall for Wednesday evening Bible program.
Acoltyes
All children in second through fifth grade are invited to be an acolyte during the 11 o'clock service. Children learn how to carry the light of Jesus into the church and out of the church when service is over.
Vacation Bible School
During the month of June or July, children ages three through riising sixth graders can participate in Bible School. Bible School dates and times are determined sometime in April.
Nursery is provided for children two and under during all of the above programs, except for Children’s Fellowship and Weekday Preschool.
Parents are welcome to attend any of these activities. We also welcome any and all volunteers.
